How much can a cheap,but decent car cost in Los Angeles?

I've never driven ,Yet gotten around! Believe it! LOL... I would have to sell a few things... Just need to know how much can I afford? Any donations out there? LOL

If you have to sell things you probably cannot afford a car. Cost,sales tax, plates,insurance,inspections,maintence,f... your buddies places for nothing, speeding tickets. Then next year you can start all over with most of the expenses
