What types of fundraisers can My team do?

I am on a dance team. We are going to do a car wash this summer, get donations, and stand on the road and get donations from cars passing, but that still wont raise enough money. The cheerleaders have sold cookies and donuts so we can't do that. What other things can we do?

How about a lip gloss fund raiser! Have fun raising funds!

I have used this before to help a friend of mine raise money for her local Autism Group.

I am an Arbonne Consultant and I get a 35% discount on the products I purchase to sell. Arbonne has these 6 great lip glosses that cost $10.00 USD Retail. I also include Arbonne Lip Saver for the guys and the gals.(SPF8 Chapstick). Priced at $8.00 US.

This makes the fund raiser fun and simple. Just 7 products and each sold earns $3 for the fundraising cause. I also work into the program rewards for each of the sellers if they reach certain sales goals.

Where do you live? Arbonne can be sold out of the US , Canada, UK, and Australia. So this should work for any of these locations or if you live another place, I just need to look at the shipping cost of the products.

Anyway it is very fun and really can create a nice amount of money for the cause.

Example:

10 Members each sell 30 Lip Gloss = 300 Sold 300 x $3.00 = $900.00

($3.00 earned for each sold)

Plus each member that can sell 30 or more will get $50.00 in Arbonne Product Free as a bonus. Arbonne has over 400 products.

It is easy to sell. Great colors and many ladies will buy 2 different colors or one lip gloss and the lip saver.

This would take some planning and forethought but it has enormous potential: Have a huge "garage sale" on the school property. Send notices home with every student and ask for donations from garages, closets, basements. Do this about thirty days ahead. Arrange for people to drop off all day Wednesday and Thursday before the sale. Organize and price things on Friday. Open the sale to the public Saturday from, say, 9:00 - 3:00. Depending on the response, you might even be able to charge a dollar or two admission.

you can talk to local restaurants to get a commission on the food sold on a certain night, or have a bowling night or something like that. you could also host a dance or party and pay for admission
